What it does
Give Claude an .xlsx file and tell it why you're checking it, such as sending it to a client or reviewing a financial model. Claude scans the workbook's formulas, named ranges, hidden sheets, external links, and data validation rules. You get a plain-English report flagging anything risky, like hidden data or links to outside files.
Who it’s for
A good fit for people who work with spreadsheets and numbers, anyone working with Word, PDF, Excel or PowerPoint files and bookkeepers, finance teams and business owners.
