Tell Claude what task to add, mark done, or look up. Claude detects which task manager you use and updates your list through its command-line tool. You get your to-do list managed without opening the app.

No. You can use this without writing or editing any code.
How to install
Add it to Claude as a skill. Download the skill folder from its source page, zip it, and upload it in Claude’s settings under Skills. See the step-by-step guide.
