What it does
You give Claude a link to a YouTube, TikTok, podcast, or other video, or a local file. Claude connects to the Scribiz service to pull a full transcript with timestamps, on-screen text, a summary, and chapter breakdown. You get text you can search, quote, or turn into a blog post or social content.
Who it’s for
A good fit for writers, coaches and content creators and people who research markets, competitors or topics.
Do you need to code?
Some. To get the most from this one you may need to be comfortable with code, the command line or technical setup.
How to install
Add it to Claude as a skill. Download the skill folder from its source page, zip it, and upload it in Claude’s settings under Skills. See the step-by-step guide.
Safety note
Requires setting up a connection to an external transcription service from a terminal or app settings; sends your video link or file to that service.
As with any add-on, only install skills from sources you trust, and read what it does first.
